Our Vision

Taking Root Farms will empower and enhance the daily lives of adults with developmental disabilities living in Richland County and the surrounding region.

What “Rooted in Choice” Means

We’re building a program where adults with I/DD can: Participate in work that fits their strengths, try new activities,  build friendships and community, and develop skills that carry into everyday life.

Our
Program

A day at Taking Root Farms is designed to create: Belonging (being known, valued, & included), Growth (skills, confidence, & independence), Joy (recreation, relationships, & meaningful routine)
